For Portlin's birthday this year we decided to do a movie theater theme. It was a lot of fun getting the party all ready. We had a snack bar, a red carpet and of course a movie theater.

Wow it's been a long time since our last post! We have been super busy with Kindergarten, preschool, gymnastics and girls, girls, girls!! Portlin is almost done with Kindergarten and loving it! 6 years old in a few weeks, she is becoming quite the little lady. She has become a great reader, she enjoys learning playing with friends and helping with baby Rowan. Dutch is almost 5! She has started soccer this year and is quite the little "goal maker" she is loving it!! She has learned to read this year and asks about 5 times a day if we can sit and read her books. Tru is also almost 5, Gee where do I even start with Tru?! Tru has also started reading and when she is in the mood she loves it! She definitely has a mind of her own. Tru love to keep busy ALL day long. She loves helping me around the house and entertaining baby Rowan. My baby girl is 15 months old! Where does the time go? We have all enjoyed having a baby in the house, it seems like we blinked and now we have a little toddler on our hands. Rowan has finally started walking (lazy girl) she says ma ma and that's about it ha ha! She does about 12 signs so we do know what she wants most of the time. She loves playing baby dolls and trying to keep up with her sisters. We love our girls so much and feel so blessed to have each and everyone of them:)

Happy 1st Birthday Baby Rowan!!

Our baby girl turned one this Sunday. I don't want to believe she is really one! Time just got away from me and now my baby is such a big girl. Rowan is such a sweet , animated and funny girl. Her favorite thing to do is crawl to the bottom of the stairs and get my attention because she knows I will chase her up the stairs. Her favorite toys to play with are baby dolls and balls. She likes to hold a doll and rock it back and forth and make kiss noises to it. She loves to get the balls and throw them and watch them roll. She has 8 teeth and loves to BITE! Rowan weighs 18lbs and loves to eat almost anything we put in front of her.

We had a little party for her on Saturday and had some family and some close friends come over for a BBQ, made paper dolls and frosted cookies.

The girls and I gathered up all the baby dolls and accessories and set them up down stairs so that all the little party guests could play Rowan's favorite thing.. Babies.

I don't think Rowan will have to look to far to find a few "play mates" to play babies with.

King Cowboy

This past weekend the girls and I went up to Pangwich to watch my grandpa King (papa Sonny) get a award. In Garfield County they choose someone who has been farming for most their life. The person they choose had to meet all the standards to become "King Cowboy" Of course my grandpa King won!! He is almost 80 and he is still out doing cows. Feeding, watering, caving, branding, just about everything that he can. He has the help of my uncle Kacy and Kenny of course. Since I was a little girl I have always loved going up to Antimony. It was always so much fun to play in the barn and ride houses and just be kids outside.

I love it that my girls are so close with my grandpa. They absolutely love to go to his house and visit him. The girls say every time we leave, "we are cowgirls!!"

They had all these great photos of my grandpa over all his years of "being a cowboy" I took pictures of the pictures so it doesn't do them justice.

All my family was able to meet us there except two of my brothers.

Tru went and sat by my grandpa at the other end of the table during the ceremony. She loves to sit and talk to him. He probably can't even hear half the stuff she says ha ha but she loves to visit.

Here is the man of the hour. Kenneth Gates King AKA- Sonny. They did a great little slide show of his life. It had a lot of photos with my grandma King in it. It was great to watch. My grandma King passed away at age 56. I was only 2 but I remember little things about her.

He truly is a Cowboy!!

After the program we went in and watched a little kids rodeo.

After everything Kara (my sister) and her family were headed to the Gallagher's cabin up at Mammoth Creek, my in laws cabin, When we got there we walked into this! We knew there was a rat in the cabin because Brian's parents were up there the week before and saw it. They set traps for it so we kind of knew to watch out for it.

Then we saw that the trap in the kitchen was set off, with no rat in it. The rat set it off but got away. We were so freaked out because we thought it was still on the run. We soon found out that there was still another trap, but we couldn't find it.

Next we found THIS!! OH MY GOSH!! Talk about my worst nightmare come true!! I hate to even see the picture of this disgusting varmint!! I couldn't even look at it so I made my sister take this picture of it so Brian could see it!! This thing was still alive after having its head in the trap for a few days! We made Rob (my sisters husband) take it outside! It was bigger then a medium size cat, it was huge and so gross!

In the morning we went for a ride on my sisters new Ranger.

After we left the cabin on Sunday we went to Nana and Papa Gallagher's house for Sunday dinner.We love to eat at their house, Lynda is such a great cook.!!

Lynda always has the cutest decorations in her home. The girls love to play at their house. Its so great, Lynda kept so many of Brian's toys, the girls are able to play with the same toys that their daddy played with. Portlin is sooo into taking pictures! She takes pictures of everything, it doesn't matter if your ready for it or not.

Conference Weekend

So this weekend the girls and I drove up to my sisters house in Laverkin Utah. We met my parents, my brother and his wife there to watch LDS General Conference together. Our parents have always been very faithful in having a food storage supply. Enough to feed an army! They can almost everything that can be canned. They have been doing this ever since I can remember. I remember as a young child watching them grow a large garden, full of all kinds of vegetables. At the time I hated having a garden, mainly because that meant us kids had to do lots of weeding! In the summer every morning we would go out and water and weed the garden for a few hours. I have to admit that sometimes we did enjoy our selves. Kara and I would play "pioneers" in the corn rows. I wont go into detail how we played ha ha but we had a lot of fun! Looking back I am grateful that my parent made us work hard! I have learned so much from their examples.

I hope to be a good teacher and example to my own girls as my parents were to me. My girls just love my dad!! (all of the grands kids do) he is always letting them help with all his projects that he does.

My mom and dad brought like 60 lbs of meat for us kids to can. We had 3 or 4 pressure cookers going, at once.My parents wanted us all to learn how to can meat. We did mostly chicken and a little beef.

It takes so much time to can meet!! Every detail is so important to do just right. We have to cut the meat into cubes, put the meat into the mason jars and then boil the flat part of the lids (the part that has the rubber around it) I can't remember the name of it, but that part seals the jars.

Next you have to put the jars into the pressure cooker for 75 minutes. (sounds easy) you have to watch the pressure gage to make sure it does not pass 15 degrees. If it passes that you have to turn the flam down and make sure it does not drop past 12 degrees. Kara is doing this part in the back yard on the camp cooker because we ran out of room in the kitchen.

Lunch time!! Not only do my parents grow a great garden, but my dad is a great cook!! He is always making delicious dinners that are always mouth watering. Growing up my dad was a shop teacher and then a Principal. But he can pretty much do anything you can think of. He built our house we grew up in, knows every meaning of every word in the dictionary, he can fix almost anything, he can pretty much build anything you can imagine. He built me a changing table when I was pregnant with Portiln, I showed him one I like out of a Pottery Barn magazine and he just whipped one up. He built my girls a kitchen table and a dish cupboard one year for Christmas, and for another Christmas he built them the most amazing doll house.

While we were up at Kara's house they needed a new toilet so dad went out and got one and installed it within the hour. Needless to say we think he is pretty talented!! I guess what I'm trying to say is I am pretty lucky to have a dad that can always be counted on!! We love you dad!

These will last up to 10 years on the shelf. They taste no different in dinners then fresh chicken or beef you bought today. Thank you so much mom and dad for taking time to teach us and help make this such a fun and memorable weekend for me and my own children!!

Update on Rowan

I decided that I needed to add a little update on baby Rowan. I feel kind of bad because she is the 4th of 4 girls and I don't really post any of her milestones.

This is Rowan before she came out to meet her family. We were super excited for her arrival. Even though she was the 4th girl we couldn't have been happier for her to join us!!!

Here she is in all her glory!! February 5th 2010. A whopping 6lbs 13 oz! I know that doesn't seem that big to most people but she was two pounds bigger then my biggest baby! She was by far the easiest delivery!

She has also by far been the happiest baby!! She started smiling at two days old (I know she wasn't doing it on purpose) but still she would smile, and make all of us smile! This was Rowan her second day home.

Rowan would do this cute little "O" with her mouth from about three days old until she was probably two months old. Now that I think back, all my girls did this with their mouth when they were newborns.

Rowan had her fist photo shoot at 5days old. I know the bow is huge but I liked it for a prop ha ha.

End of February 2010, about 2 1/2 weeks old. Rowan with her Great papa and grandma Gallagher. They love to see her! I am so happy she has so many opportunities to meet and spend time with all her Great grandpas and grandmas. She has four great grandpas and three great grandmas that get to see her at least once ever two months or so.

Rowan was blessed on March 7th by her daddy! It was such a special day. I am so grateful for Brian and all he does for his girls!! Rowan is defiantly a daddy's girl for sure!!

Rowan 5 weeks old.

When Rowan see her daddy come in she starts yelling at him to make sure he sees and says something to her. She will keep yelling at him until he looks right at her and say something to her.

May 2010 about 3 1/2 months old. She rolled over for the first time. Rowan was full on smiling every time we talked to her.She loves to goo and talk her own little language. She loves to watch her sisters run around, and loves when they talk to her! She lights up when mommy walks in the room. She started sleeping 6-8 hours in a row at night!:)

June 2010 about 4 1/2 months old. She is playing with toys and putting them in her mouth. She loves her feet and hands. She loves when we sing to her. When she cries we can start to sing a song to her and she stops right away to listen.

July 2010 She is 5 months old. Rowan has turned into a MOMMIES GIRL. This is a good and bad thing. Good because I feel so loved by her, she is so happy in my arms and I just love to hold and cuddle with her. She gives me a huge smile every time I make eye contact with her. Bad because I can't leave her with ANYONE with out her being a naughty baby, so this means... she goes everywhere with me! To the bathroom, the movie, grocery shopping, craft nights, you get the picture!

August 2010 about 6 months old. She has started eating all kids of baby foods. We came up to my parents house(in Utah) for 3 weeks. This is my nephew Krew with Rowan. I was feeding her, baby food and I ran out so I told Krew to watch her while I ran in the house to get more. I told him" if Rowan start to cry sing to her"... Krew didn't know papa King was looking out the window watching him. This is what he did while he was watching her for me... Rowan: crying

Krew: "Rowan you okay!

Rowan:" crying"

Krew:" la la twinkle little star, here hold my car"

Rowan: looking at the car and then starts eating the car.

Krew: " OH NO! Yuck!

Rowan: "SCREAMING"

Krew:" Um.. aunt Kayla!!!"

Ha ha he is so darn cute!! He was such a good baby sitter!! He loves her and its so sweet!

September 2010 7 months old. By now she is eating baby food about 3 times a day. She still nurses about 8 times a day. She loves her food!! She is a great eater.

She loves to eat table food too! She loves corn, potatoes, tiny pieces of chicken, lasagna, pretzels, just about anything we eat she wants to eat too! (Hope that's okay ha)

She got her fist tooth on the bottom right two days after she turned 7 months old. She got her second tooth bottom left two days latter. Poor baby! But she was still happy the whole time! We just love this little girl SOOOOOO MUCH!

Lake Powell trip.

It was so hard to leave all this behind !! Laundry + all the help that comes with it, cleaning, dropping/picking kids up from school, cooking dinner, breaking up fights, lots and lots of "Mommy she looked at me "Mommy she is wearing my shirt, picking up toys, and our jobs.But I think we found a way to keep our minds off everything we were missing at home!! Brian and I (and a nursing Rowan) went on a couples trip to Lake Powell with our friends form Utah. There were 14 couples on this trip. We stayed on our friends house boat. We have not been on a couples trip sine the twins were 14 months old(The twins are now 4) so it was desperately needed!! We went for 4 relaxing days. The weather was perfect, we ate like Kings and had all the water toys you could want. We loved spending time together as a couple.Rowan had a blast!! 1 baby + 14 mommies missing there kids at home = 1 spoiled baby Rowan:) Rowan was passed around from mommy to mommy never put down, only to sleep. Needless to say, she was a happy camper with a rude awaking waiting for her when we got back into the real world of 4 kids and one tired mommy.We have such great friends!!! I love it when we are able to meet up with them for fun times like this! This is Brian wake boarding, we all know how amazing he is at wake boarding/surfing/snowboarding, but it has been a while since I have seen him do any of those. I have to say I was very impressed! WOW! In one of these videos he is not only doing flips on his board but he is flipping over Curtis's head while Curtis is on the jet ski ridding behind the boat!And then there is me... Wow this is embarrassing, I was just lucky to get up for 10 seconds without knocking my teeth out!Up for 10 seconds.... and back down I go!!What a great trip and wonderful friends!!!!

Look at all them cowgirls!!Brian and my dad up at Boulder Mountain. We come camping here every year with my dads side of the family. It has been something we look forward to all year long. Most all of my cousins and their kids come.. all of my Aunts and Uncles come, and my grandpa King of course. My kids call him Papa Sunny.

My cousin Angie with Rowan. Papa Sunny, Tru and Dose (His dog) My kids have always loved Pa pa Sunny. This summer we were able to go up to Antimony 3 times to See him, we went to help with branding and castrating the caves. That was fun for the girls to see what we needs to do to the baby cows.

Portlin's fist day of kindergarten

Portlin was so excited to start kindergarten. She chose her outfit the night before and laid it out all by her self. She would have slept in it if I would have let her. She wanted to try it on to make sure that was the right outfit for the fist day of school. Once she got her outfit on she looked down at herself and said " Oh my gosh!! I look so CUTE!" ha ha ! She was right, she did look "SO CUTE"

Monday morning, fist day of Kindergarten.waiting for breakfast. I have to admit that I was very sad when this day came. I was very excited for Portlin but at the same time I just can not believe my baby is old enough to go to Kindergarten. She is such a good example to her 3 little sisters. Dutch and Tru look up to her and want to be with her all the time. They were sad that they couldn't stay with her when it was time to leave her at the school. I have the cutest picture of Portlin on her fist day of Preschool when she was 3 years old. She did this cute little thumbs up pose on her own in this picture, so I made her do the same pose before we left for the school.I cant beleive These pictures of the girls were taken 2 1/2 years ago! Where has the time gone?!Dutch, Portlin and Tru on Portlin's first day of Preschool. The twins wanted to go with her to school that day too! ha ha. They are all such good friends!! I always tell them how lucky they are to have their best friends as sisters.That is one cute school girl!!! Man we love this little one!

Dutch and Tru turned 4 on July 9th! Yes I am a little late posting their pictures of their birthday but we have had a busy summer! I can't believe my babies are four! Tru is loving summer and swimming. She has learned to swim with out floaters. She can jump off the diving board and swim to the side all by her self. She loves riding her bike she got for her birthday. She loves to help with baby Rowan whenever she can. We love Tru so much she is such a kind hearted little girl!

Dutch is my little helper. She is always trying to do her jobs the best she can. Dutch LOVES to play with her sisters. She is the peace maker in our home, always trying to make things fair between all the sisters. We love our sweet Dutchy!

Portlin had a Hawaiian birthday party! We had so much fun. We went to the willows pool and had a bunch of friends and family to come help us celebrate her 5th birthday. She got a barbie bike, lots of barbies, zhu zhu pets and so many fun toys! Happy Birthday Portlin we love you so

much!

We made her cup cakes for her party, if you can't tell they are little beaches ha ha I'm not the best at baking or decorating.

Our Fun Weekend

Our weekend was so full of fun! It was Brian's birthday so we got to have a little party for him at na na and pa pa Gallaghers.

He got a new BBQ! Yeah now we don't have to use our tiny one with 3 legs ha ha.

We also took the kids to this cute little farm, it has goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits, quail, turtles, a horse and thank goodness a cat for Dutch to love on. Dutch wants a kitty so badly but its not in her near future, sorry bugga!

Poor Rowan is 11 weeks old and already has her first cold.Her Dr is having us giver her breathing treatments with the mask and albuterol. She dosen't seem to mind it, she will even lean toward the mask to get her face closer to it.
Portlin, Tru and Dutch had their Primary talent show last night. They did so good and looked so cute doing the song and actions.

Portlin drew a pitcher for her talent and it was displayed on the table so everyone could see it.She was so proud everytime someone would come to look at it.. she is such a sweet girl, we love her to death!!

Friday the 5th, our 5th anniversary I went into labor at home. My contractions started around 5:00 p.m and were 5 min apart. It was about 8:00 p.m when we went to the hospital. It was a super long labor but to my surprise it was not to bad. I got the epidural around 3:45 a.m and I was dilated to a 7. My water broke around 6:00 am and I had her at 7:28 a.m everything went so smooth!! I pushed 4 times and out she came! Rowan was 6 lbs 13 oz and was 18 inches long.

Christamas 2009

Christmas Morning, I didn't take pic of the girls opening their gifts for some reason... we just did video so this was all I got.

Christmas eve, the girls put milk and cookies for Santa Clause.
We have been telling them since I got pregnant that the baby would come after Christmas so they were disappointed when she didn't come out on Christmas, but it was the only way to explain when she was coming. (I'm not due till February 16Th) but they don't remember Valentines day to use that holiday and don't understand weeks or months so they are still waiting for her to get here. I think we really confused them because Tru still tell people that the baby is coming after Christmas.

Thanksgiving at the Gallagher's cabin

This year we had Thanksgiving with the Kings! Brian, the girls and I drove up on Wednesday and met my Parents and siblings that night, so we all spent the night there. It was so much fun to see everyone!The following day was Thanksgiving and the rest of the Kings came up. It was good to see grandpa King and my aunts and uncles.

Pretty soon we will have one more to add to the family!! We are super excited!

This trip was the first time we got to see my sisters new baby boy, Bridger. He was 4 weeks old and so tinny. I would help her give him a bath and and get him dressed, it was so hard to do that with someone so small. I have forgotten how to hold and dress a baby ha!! I better learn fast since I have about 9 weeks left until I will have my own at home.

No I didn't dress up as a zombie, this was me after 3 of my own preschool parties, the girls preschool party, my brother and sister in law's trunk or treat, the girls friends Halloween party and finally our own wards trunk or treat. Needless to say I was a little "Halloweened" out! Don't get me wrong I absolutely love this holiday but every year we do a little to much.

My little Pink fairy!! Tru has been asking to be a pink fairy for the last 3 months so I made her a costume that she has been dying to wear! She look so pretty!!
Portlin was our Mulan! We sprayed her hair BLACK! It was not easy to do. Portlin has really blond hair so this was quit the task, but it was worth it! She loved her hair black and she look beautiful!
Our little Dutch was a black kitty last year and this year she wanted to be a kitty again this year. We had to change it up a bit so we decided to do a White Kitty! she loves kitties so she really enjoyed dressing up as one! She was the most glamorous kitty at the party!
Our daddy passed out candy at our trunk or treat and I'm sure he just loved it!! Ha ha. He is so lucky to be surrounded by beautiful girls all the time!

So all the girls have been in ballet and have just loved every minute of it!! Tru and Dutch are so fun to watch because if they get nervous at all they hold onto each other or keep a hold of each others hands. I love to see them like that because they are not exactly like that at home...

We had the 24 week ultra sound for the baby today and it looks like we might have another ballet beauty on our hands. Her little feet were crossed the hole time we were looking at her. Tru was funny because she is the one the said "look she has little ballet feet" ha it was so cute and the nurses got a kick out of it.

On Sunday night I went into the Preschool room to get things ready for Monday.... Well look what was sitting on top of the garbage!! First look I thought one of the twins cut Portlin's dolls hair. After picking it up and looking at it I saw that it was real hair. I couldn't believe my daughter who is so obsessed with her long "princess" hair could have done this. I came into the kitchen and asked Portlin who cut her hair. When I saw the look on her face I knew that she had done it herself. Funny thing is I did her hair for Church and didn't even notice because I pulled it all back into a pony tail, but when I took her hair out and brushed it out you could totally see that above her left shoulder about 4 inches wide had been CHOPPED! she has always been my obedient little girl so needless to say we were in shock! After she got her punishment of sitting on time out and missing dance, missing her play date with a friend and not getting to go with NaNa Gallagher I think she learned her lesson. Now I love it and think she looks so cute with it! She looks a few years older with the cut, and this is her 2ND time getting a hair cut in her four and a half years of life, so it was quite a change and very hard for mommy to part with all her baby hair!! That was the worst part.

What we have been up too!

So the past few months we have been supper busy!! First the girls all started preschool, they go two times a week and absolutely love it! They have also started Ballet, its so fun to watch how much they enjoy it. We are so lucky to have our 3 beautiful girls! We have so much fun with them and enjoy each of their sweet personalities. We love them so much we thought we would add another one to the bunch!! Yes that's right we are having our 4Th child, and of course its another GIRL! I am about five and a half months along and feel great! I have not been sick one day of this pregnancy. I thought for sure that meant we were going to get our boy!! But no such luck here! After the shock wore off of having 4 Girls I can now say that we are very excited! Now the hardest part of the whole thing is coming up with a name that we both agree on.

Dutch, wow the drama that comes with Dutch! But she is such a sweet heart so we forgive her. For mothers day the twins made me bracelets in Nursery, I loved them. Thanks girls!

And my little Tru. Tru keeps us laughing at all times! she has the funniest personality, she is so fun. At times she is the little peace maker!

I had a great mothers day up at my parents, the only thing missing was our daddy, we came up for a week so we had to leave him in Vegas :(

Okay so as we can all see I'm not the best on keeping up on my blog. I will try harder this time to at least keep it a little more to date!! HA

In February My Parents came down for a visit and my dad wanted to give them an "UnBirthday" Like on Alice In Wonderland. The girls had so much fun!! They helped my dad make a birthday cake and cupcakes and wore birthday hats. We sang to them and they even got a little gift. Their birthday gift was sunglasses.

Trying to wake up after surgery Last Saturday we had quite an eventful day. It started with Dutch falling in the bathroom and cutting her chin open. I wasn't sure whether or not I should take her to get stitches, but I figured I better go just to be safe. So, off to the hospital me and the girls went. Meanwhile, Brian was snowboading at Lee Canyon. It ended up that Dutch just had to get it glued together, so that was great news. She did so good with the doctor. Less than an hour after we got home, I got a phone call saying Brian is in an ambulance driving down the mountain going to the hospital. So, off to a different hospital we go. Brian ended up breaking his collar bone in 3 different places. He had surgery a couple days ago and is trying to recover from all the horrible pain. The girls were very concerned about their daddy at first, but now they like to sit and compare their owies and scars with him!

We couldn't start the night without some kind of disaster!! It never fails, anytime we go anywhere one of us gets some kind of bump or bruise!! Tru fell into the door inside the church and it looked a lot worse up close, the bump was as big as a ping pong ball at first, Darn it!!

Portlin talked me into dressing up too so I went as a fairy. I couldn't talk Brian into going as Peter Pan, that would have been a great sight!! ha ha

Papa handed out candy at the car, don't tell anyone but I think he played favorites and gave the grandkids extra candy!!!

Trunk or Treat

This year we went to so many trunk or treats, we ended up going to four!! we were a little burned out by the last one because each family members, ward's trunk or treat was a different night so each night we dressed up and went out. First up was my sister in law sisters, the next night we went to my sister in laws trunk or treat, then the next night we went to our own and the last one we went to was on Halloween night at my in-laws ward!

We Invited our good friends to come to ours with us so we were glad that they could make it. They have two boys, Joshua (the Hulk) and Jace he is not in this pic. but it was fun to have them all there.

They were all a lot of fun but at the end of it all we were kind of glad it was over ha ha This one is at my sister in laws ward and we have some good friends in that ward so the girls where glad to see them there...

To be honest the only thing the girls were really interested in was the candy and if they looked pretty in their costumes!! Dutch kept saying " I a pretty kitty", and Tru would say " I a pretty Witch!!"

They always have fun with cousin Briggs!!! he is like their little brother!! He and Tru are the best of buddies!!

Portlin's First Pre-School Halloween Party

This was Portlin's first year of pre-school, so a few days before Halloween, they got to have a little Halloween party at school.

When we went to pick Portlin up from school, of course Dutch and Tru had to dress up in their costumes!!

These Ponies were the cutest little things!!
The baby ponies where only 2 months old and they would run all over and all of a sudden buck up their hind legs, they would run so fast like little dogs playing together! You could seriously pick them up they were so little. I wanted to sneak one into the diaper bag but my husband wouldn't let me!!
The owner would let the baby ponies run out of their fenced off area since they were as big as dogs and they would run out so fast and buck and run back in just as fast! I really want one as a pet. I wonder if it would fit in our 20 ft by 10 ft backyard??
Dutch was the only one that wanted to ride one, Tru was scared and Portlin was excited to go to the rides.Later she was sad because we had no more tickets left for her to ride one of the pony's. Dutch looked so cute riding the pony, she kept trying to get him to go faster, she loved it! It was my favorite part of the whole night!!!!!
Tru liked to pet them through the fence, she is usually our little dare devil but we found out this wasn't the case with animals.

The girls loved to give their tickets to get on the rides, and take off.
We went on one car ride for bigger kids so I had to get in with them so I got to get in on the action!!
There wasn't a lot of people there so every ride they had the choice to ride in their own cart and choose what color they wanted.
Tru's favorite part was the steering wheel!! she was in heaven being in control of her own car!!

Horse ridding in Manti

After the temple on Saturday we got to go to my grandparents house in Manti where my horse is and let the girls ride her. They had so much fun!

Even Baby Olivia got in on the action and got a ride! how cute!! Portlin got to hold the reins all by her self she felt like such a cow girl!

Tru was a little nervous but still has a lot of fun, we were glad they had the chance to get to ride her, I wish we could do it more often.
It was Jenny's frist time on a horse and she did great!! She is my cousins Trevor's wife and she is a doll!! we love her!! she is so sweet and I have to say he got a very PRETTY gril!! but hey he is not so bad him self ha!! we love them!

Temple Day!

The girls were so sweet in their little white dresses, they felt like princesses!! The twins wore there blessing dresses, yes they still fit then because when they were blessed they were 5 months old and they were supper long and hung way past their feet, so now when they were 2 they hit them right at the ankle and fit just perfect!! Portlin wore her cousin Kianna's dress and all three looked so beautiful!! They were all smiles all day long!

You can see gum in all of their hands and its such a cute story. As we were getting sealed we were holding hands and the girls started getting restless and pulling away so the sealer ( Brother Slack) who was so great with them, ( he was also my seminary teacher all four years) said " hold on, and pulled out 3 packs of gum and told them if they hold still they can eat it after, so we finished the sealing with 3 packs of gum in their hands.

We have waited so long to go to the temple with our beautiful little girls and the day finally came!! we were so happy! It was an unforgettable experience for all of us, the girls all month long were asking, " do we go to the Temple today?" every day they ask and Portlin would sing ' I love to see the temple, all the time. On the drive to the temple Saturday morning Portlin was in the back singing " I love to see the temple I'm going inside today" it was so touching that a 3 year old could understand so well what was going on, and to this day she still talks about the temple.

We were all watching the guys shoot guns, I was surprised the little ones like it so much because it was so loud. Kara took the girls for rides over and over, very nice of her since you can only go 5 mph with all three on the four wheeler with one adult.

My cousin Angie and I are 4 hours apart, and our two kids are just a week or two apart, they look like they could be brother and sister.

We got this cute little pool at Terrel's not knowing how small it was ha!! Krew loves to swim, he will stand at the outside of the little pool and belly flop in its so funny!! He is the cutest little boy ever! He is such a sweetie we love him to death!!
It was tight but we made them fit.

WOW THIS WAS SUCH A BITTER SWEET TIME FOR THE GIRLS, THEY LOVE TO SWIM BUT HATED SWIMMING LESSONS. THEY EACH HAD THEIR OWN TEACHER AND I THINK EACH TEACHER LOST SOME OF THEIR HEARING AFTER THOSE TWO WEEKS OF LESSONS.

It was quit the ride down to California but we made it and it was worth it. The kids were awasom, they each took their naps in these comfy strollers that we rented there. In fact they were so good we stayed for 12 HOURS!

When we were at California my dad "pa pa King" was able to stop by and play with the girls for a few hours, because he works down there during the week.

Wow do we love tub time. Some days the girls have two baths a day. They stay in for an hour at a time, so most days we are the cleanest girls at the park! Portlin thinks its her job to get the babies hair wet for them and wash it, most times they don't agree with her.

Brian and I met up in Orem while I was living with seven of my girl friends. My Friends/ roomates were dating some boys who also lived together. They introduced Brian and I and thats how we met. Over time two of my roomates married two of his roomates and then we were married in February 2005. Then one more set of good friends/ roomates was married that following August. We just had our 3 year anniversary February 5 and now have 3 little girls!

We just started doing family home evening with the girls, and so far they have done really well. They like to help put the picthers of the lesson up on the bord and they love doing the activitys afterwards, and when I ask Portlin what her favorite part of the lesson was she says the treats!! So I guess we have a ways until they start to really understand the lessons but oh well we have fun doing them.
